Mars Rocks! The Hits! | October 1, 2010

Although I’ve been writing Mars Rocks! cartoons since early 2004, I haven’t been putting them on the interweb for very long. One night I got out of bed, having gone there to sleep, but having totally failed. The original Mars Rocks! cartoons were quite rough and I resolved to not rest until I had created a new look for them.

That was in May, and I’ve watched the viewings for the site tick up steadily ever since, generally being driven by my super hashtagged posts on Twitter. However, something has happened in the past couple of weeks and the viewings have started to happen without being driven. In the past 7 days I’ve watched the views go from 6,000 to 8,000, which is awesome.

As far as I can tell it’s one particular cartoon, Grim Reality, which has really got people spreading the word. If you’re one of those people then thank you very much, it’s great not to have to annoy my friends all the time on Twitter anymore.

  1. I had no idea that your anthropomorphic rocks had such a long history. Kudos.

    • They nearly got published once, but it didn’t quite happen.
